DigiAudit needs WordPress 5.8 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer, and an administrator account to use it. No account with us, no key and no extra PHP extension.
Install it from WordPress
- Download
digiaudit.zipfrom the DigiAudit page. Do not unzip it. - In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
- Choose the file, click Install Now, then Activate.
WordPress takes you straight to the plugin's page. It is also in the admin menu under Diagnostic.
Install it over SSH
The DigiAudit page has the command that downloads the release, checks it against its published SHA-256 and unpacks it into wp-content/plugins — then one more to activate it. The steps are the same for every plugin we publish and are explained in Download, verify and install a plugin.
Update it
Download the new digiaudit.zip and upload it the same way. WordPress offers to replace the installed version; accept.
Your scans, history, settings and quote log are kept: they live in the WordPress database, not in the plugin folder.
Important
An update replaces config.php. If you edited it to brand the plugin for your agency, apply your change again — or move it to a must-use plugin, where an update cannot reach it. Brand it for your agency shows how.
Remove it
Deactivate it under Plugins, then click Delete.
Deleting it removes everything it created: its settings, the last scan, the history, the quote log, its cached data, its weekly task, and each user's dismissed notices — on every site of a multisite network. Deactivating without deleting keeps all of it.
