The platform most of the web runs on.

One server runs many customers' websites, and the cost of the machine is shared between them. That is what makes it the cheapest way to put a site online, and why it suits personal sites, small businesses and anything that does not need a machine to itself.

If your site runs on PHP — WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Laravel, or something written for you — this is the platform it expects. If it is written in ASP.NET or needs MSSQL, Windows Web Hosting is the one to look at instead.

It depends on the plan, and the figures on each card come straight from the platform rather than from a marketing page. Compare them side by side above and pick the one that covers what you actually use.

Yes — on the Multi-Domain Hosting plans. Switch to that tab above the grid: each of those plans holds several websites, each on its own domain, and the number is stated on the card. The Standard Hosting plans are one site each, which is what keeps them this simple and this cheap. For separate cPanel accounts — one per customer or per project — that is reseller hosting rather than either of these.

Yes, on your own domain. How many mailboxes depends on the plan — the card states the number, and it is not the same on all of them, so check it against how many addresses you actually need.

No. You can point a domain you already own at the hosting, or register one here so that both renew together on one account. The domain search will tell you what is free.

Yes. Get in touch once the hosting is set up and we will help move the files, the database and the mail across, and tell you when to change the domain records.

Yes. It is not something you can do yourself from your account yet, so get in touch and we will move you up — said plainly here rather than leaving you to hunt for a button that does not exist.

Yes, for your own domain's files. Root access is not part of shared hosting and never will be — the machine is shared — so anything that needs root belongs on a VPS or a dedicated server.

The platform takes its own copy on a five-day cycle and we can restore from it if you ask. Treat that as a safety net rather than as your backup: take your own from cPanel, on a schedule that matches how often your site changes.

Yes — the servers run ClamAV. It is not a substitute for keeping your applications and plugins up to date, which is where most of the trouble on shared hosting actually starts.

No. A shared plan is for your own sites, and dividing it up and selling it on is what reseller hosting is for: WHM, your own packages, your own customers, each with their own cPanel.

Yes — thirty days. If it is not what you expected, tell us inside the first month and you get your money back.
